Out of the Hat
Tewkesbury Heritage and Visitor Centre is your first stop for information on the town of Tewkesbury and its surrounding areas.
The centre is a beautifully restored and enhanced 17th century former home and shop. The building owned by the Borough Council, houses the town's Tourist Information Centre on the ground floor, with two upper floors packed to the rafters with modern interpretation and things to do. Visitors can explore the life and times of a former resident using hand held media players which enable the user to self-guide around this fascinating building.
The centre is ideal for families, groups and schools, history and architecture enthusiasts. Wheelchair friendly, hearing loops available and assistance dogs welcome.
